When we finally got some wheels, which wasn't much more than a scooter, we were off to that new world where kids hung out year 'round, the mall. You could do everything there. Outside of actually buying anything, there were some cool stores. We had to go dream about a new stereo, then maybe an air hockey table. Or how about a foosball table! Yeah that's what we surely needed!

Then for some fun, we always ended up at the arcade. We weren't going to win any stuffed animals, but we sure could unload some coins. Had to make sure we saved enough to gas up the scooter and head home.

Yup, that's the way it was.
